In Imprint Analytics, contacts are the people you survey — candidates, employees, partners, vendors, or any other individuals whose personality data you want to collect and analyze. You can add contacts individually, or they are automatically created when someone completes a survey via a shared link.
How Contacts Are Created
Contacts are created in two ways:
- Automatically via survey link: When someone completes your survey through a link you've shared, they are automatically added as a contact in your organization.
- Manually via an invite: You can invite someone directly by sending them a survey link from the Send Survey modal.
Inviting a New Contact
To invite a contact to take a survey:
- From the Dashboard, click Send Survey.
- Choose the Survey Type (Personality and/or Cognitive).
- Optionally, toggle Add Job Role to link this survey to a specific position.
- Click Copy Survey Link and share the link with the person via email, LinkedIn, or any other channel.
When the person completes the survey, they'll automatically appear in your Participants list with their profile results.
Viewing Your Contacts
All contacts are accessible via the Participants section in the left sidebar. There are three sub-sections:
- General — Contacts who have completed a personality survey but are not tied to a specific position (e.g., partners, vendors, or general workforce)
- Candidates — People who are being considered for an open position (linked to a job role via a survey invite)
- Employees — People who currently hold a position in your organization
Each contact's row shows their name, email, assigned personality profile, submission validity, and the date of their last survey.
Searching and Filtering Contacts
In any of the Participants sub-sections, you can:
- Use the Search bar to find a contact by name or email
- Click Show Filters to filter by profile type, source, validity, or other criteria
- Use the View button to customize which columns are displayed
Viewing a Contact's Profile
Click on any contact's row to open their full profile page, where you'll see their personality type, dimension scores, and the option to send them a follow-up survey or add notes.
